Dodge Challenger SRT8: 2008 Press Kit Unboxing

Hi this is Motels Dave and you're on the Motels Dave channel and I'm here to talk to you today

about the 2008 Dodge Challenger Press Kit. But you know I remember the 2008 Challenger SRT as being very different from the Magnum

SRT in that the Magnum had a very punishing suspension. It felt like it had no shock absorbers

But then when they did the Challenger they decided that they would try to address problems

with traction on the typical broken pavement that you see on most American roads

And so they loosened up the suspension and big surprise it actually handled better because

now the bumps were absorbed in the suspension and it didn't throw the body off

And as you can see this is not a real magazine this is a company produced or probably an

ad agency produced little magazine. And it's got all the stats that you need

There's really not that much of the 1970 story but it does take you through the entire

history of the Challenger pretty well although not as well as I did at Allpar

It's not bad. And I can't show you that the media contacts page for obvious reasons

So we just skipped through those. Oh this must be collectible. Do the doors open

And here's your inevitable CD or DVD. The media disc which has the press kit on it

So that's pretty much it. Now you get a business card telling you their website address if you get anything at all

from most manufacturers. But Chrysler was still doing the press kits as they always did under Fiat Chrysler, under

Chrysler Group, or under Cerberus Chrysler Group, or under Daimler Chrysler. They were still known for having fantabulous press kits even if it's not as extensive as

some of the others. So overall quite a nice little package here

Especially if you still own a 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 which was a phenomenal car
