Jeep is recalling the Wagoneer again, for the second related recall in two weeks. This time, it’s just the 2022-2024 models, and they may have quarter trim on the windows which can fly off into traffic. A fix is under development and customers are expected to be contacted by November. All affected Wagoneers were made from March 8, 2021 through February 29, 2024. The problem is that quarter window trim was missing the clear primer, which suggests that the problem originated with supplier Fuyao Automotive North America.
Stellantis apparently learned of the problem at the end of May 2025, and by this month found 1,710 warranty claims, a field report, and three customer assistance records. The sheer quantity of warranty claims suggests that nobody at Stellantis is checking on early warranty work, or, indeed, late warranty work.
Other recalls for the week included:
- 2020 Ford Expedition/Lincoln Navigators catching fire in the engine compartment
- 2020-21 Ford F-250, F-350, and F-450 trucks losing control when the steering column detaches
- 2023-24 Ford Transits with the wrong tires and steering coupling covers
- 2024 Ford Broncos and Rangers with bad fuel pumps that might cause a fire
- 2025 Audi SQ7s with bad fuel pumps that might cause a fire
- 2024-26 Porsches with the same bad fuel pumps
- 2025 Lamborghinis with the same bad fuel pumps
- 2019-22 BMWs, appearing to be most of the product range, with starters that can overheat
- 2020-22 Toyota Supras with the same starters
- 2022-26 Chevrolet Class 6 and 7 trucks, and Isuzu FTR and FVR trucks, with fuel heaters which may overheat and cause a fire
- 2023 Range Rovers with nonfunctional rear cameras
- Genesis GV60 with detaching windshield molding, made by a different company than the Wagoneer trim
- 2024 Sprinters with bad frames
