My first car was a 1976 Plymouth Valiant V8; nearly twenty years ago I bought a lightly used 1974 Valiant with a slant six, which has been more than enough for its duties of going to local car shows and parades. This video shows the inside and outside of the car as I reflect on what it’s like to drive on modern roads, the seemingly high gravitational pull of classic cars, and changes in cars over the past half-century.
